This is my trade shop for Animal Crossing: City Folk. The way this works is:
1) You request an item from the list
2) You put up an item for trade for it
3) Come to this page and join the Xat at the bottom during trading hours
4) Come to my town and trade the items
5) Enjoy. Seriously, should this be a step?
Rules: (Cuz I know that if I don't, someone's gonna try to pull this crap)
- Every Tuesday and Friday I will refresh the shop. Any item that has not been traded since the last refresh day will be replaced by another item (random item, whatever Nook is selling for me) - No trading the items that everyone starts with (like the cardboard box or the stone tile)
- To my knowledge, you can't trade fish/bugs, so don't bother unless you actually can
- No stealing or screwing with my town. To regulate this, I will have a marked path to an area where the trading will commence. If you do anything to my town without my permission OR you attempt to steal and run, just remember that the off button is right on the controller now.
- Post your item request in the topic on The Bell Tree WITH your friend code (include the friend code to ensure that nobody gets on before you claiming to be you)
- PLEASE change your name in the Xat to your alias if you haven't used Xat before. The default names are annoying and I need to know who is who.
- You CAN be in the Xat during trade hours and simply request and make a trade immediately for items that aren't reserved and are in my possession. (Can't trade what I don't have)
- Once you post your request, you have one week to make your trade. After this time, your trade will be revoked and you will be added to the list of Idles (also on the right). If you are on the Idles list, you will not be allowed to reserve a trade and MUST trade by doing what the above rule states. You will be taken off the Idles one week after you are added (the date you get removed will be posted with your name)
I will try to keep updated lists on the right of the current items in the shop and all trades that have been declared (but not yet completed). If an item is reserved and I know what I'm getting in return, I'll put that item on the list in place of the reserved one. Realize though that if the person who's trading me your reservation and they get added to the Idles, you won't be getting your item. Donations are gladly accepted as it expands the shop.
